not a review? crazy.
I'd just like to take this short time out to make people think about how much money goes into gas on the part of musicians while touring.
A LOT.
Most bands travel across the country and back doing something around 2000 miles? That's alot of gas. And it isn't like the 36 mpg gas efficiency either it's "we're in a van hauling this trailer" gas mileage which is probably something like 15 mpg (which is actually what my jeep gets and i hate it).
I have to commend Piebald for thinking smart and thinking green with Grease Not Gas. It's kind of amazing to think how efficient and cheap it is just to convert an old diesel engine into something that runs on grease. I talked with the merch guy and he said that they never usually have any trouble finding some. Worst part is the filtering (when they aren't lazy of course).
It makes me worried that without gas I would have no concerts to go to. Crazy thought right?
